Regional Wildfire Mitigation Program Pilot Effort in South Santa Barbara County

The Regional Wildfire Mitigation Program (RWMP) will create a framework to increase wildfire resilience for the wildland urban interface (WUI) communities located in the south coast region of Santa Barbara County, and is funded by the National Wildlife Foundation . The Program will transform the front country into a fire-adapted region with reduced wildfire risk to the communities, the built environment and natural systems, while allowing wildfire to play a regenerative role across the landscape.

PARTNERS

The RWMP is a collaboration between many local, regional, and national partners, and is funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
